Stuart Pender joined I’Anson in September 2010, following a nine-year stint as an office manager at an accountancy firm. Prior to this, Stuart spent fifteen years in the retail industry, in which time he progressed from a shop assistant to an area manager.
Now working as a Sales Representative at Masham Micronized Feeds, a role he began in 2013, an average day for Stuart focuses heavily on customer service, and involves attending many off-site client meetings. Stuart also has to keep abreast of ever-changing costs, so spends much of his day pricing up products to ensure accuracy for customers.
Stuart’s responsibilities also extend to the international arm of the business. With horse feed customers in 38 countries, Stuart often works on both managing and maintaining long distance relationships and the logistics of delivering product abroad. Growing the company’s customer base in Germany is one of Stuart’s key achievements in the role.
When asked about the most rewarding thing about working for I’Anson, Stuart is quick to praise both the family ethos surrounding the business and the great team he works alongside.
Outside of work, Stuart is a keen sportsman and played rugby for thirty years before becoming a competitive triathlete.
